Freedbacking ?

So at Bloggercon this Chris Pirillo coins this term Freedbacking for tagging or otherwise offering helpful suggestions to developers.

I don't get it. If developers WANT feedback, there are already lots of venues for doing it. I.E. that's what we're doing here for one, and there's feedback provided at places like VersionTracker and MacUpdate already. So sorry, I fail to see the need.
