ummm ???? I am not sure I understand this, but ....

as I understand it you have a room that has gone bad and for some reason you can't get to it and either fix the error or alternatively delete the whole room online in manor ?

IF that is the case, what I did was to stop the server, then edit the manor.conf file by finding the particular room in it (by roomid and name) and simply delete that room description.

A room description in conf file starts like this:

<room id=158 name="House Rules" desc=rm158.rmd src=rm158.rmd>
-- it can contain various stuff inside here----

and ends with </room>

notice the id number ... (e.g. here 158) that is corresponding to a rmd file called rm158.rmd that you can delete after you have edited out the entry in conf file.

After your changes you can reboot the server and room is gone.

Since you are on Elitepalaces hosting, you have a nice webinterface to your manor server where you can fiddle with all this, BUT ... I strongly suggest you don't mess with it unless you are pretty certain about what you are doing, let someone with access who is confident about this stuff do it, LD

Actually, if it's just the room description that's messed up, you don't have to shut the server down.

If you don't know the name of the room description file, you will need to look in the conf to find that, but no need to shut the server down as your not making any changes there.

Once you have the room description file, you can use a text editor to correct whatever the problem is as they are XML files (so long as you didn't compress it that is).

Once corrected place back on the server, clear your clients cache (if you don't clear the client cache it will keep loading the bad room description from cache) and then visit the room again.
