Thanks, Cheiron! It's definitely an important day for all of us. And I second that: whichever policies and whichever candidates you support, just get out there and vote.
Gonna brave the rain here in San Diego in a couple hours to go to my polling place. Wishing everyone a good election day experience.
Cheers,

At 9 am today I had a scheduled important meeting at other side of town. It was past 5 am before I got to bed.
I showed up though, through drizzly rain in morning rushhour on metro and train... on time, bleary eyed and demanding coffee (which they gave me with a knowing smile)
I told them, look... I watched something on TV most of night, sorry....
I of course watched the american election on danish TV, CNN churning on puter and I also even spent time on FDF manor that had made a special room for the occasion, thanks for that FDF, it was fun to ride through it with you guys , hear your comments etc.
Today I heard an interview with the American ambassador to Denmark, they had a big party for americans here etc ... but something struck me: he said they had interviewed 3000 people here.... and 88% would like Obama as president of USA.
One thing that I also noticed in Obama's winning speech was that he said for those in foreign countries: "our stories may be singular, but our destiny is shared".
That I believe is the spirit which not only will make America proud, but also lets us all focus again on the tasks ahead of us all... let's work together.
To cut a long story of impressions short, ... without much further ado:
CONGRATULATIONS AMERICA !

i concur, it was very uplifting watching the results come in, no doubt about it this man is an orator of immense talent, a giant humble presence, and brave. his task is Herculean and despite appearances to the contrary is only human so we must all give him the patience and support he needs to get his work done.
WELL DONE
