So having one of those random noodling moments, got to thinking about serotonin. Occurred to me that like anything else in the body it has to be derived from foods eaten. So what makes serotonin? Tryptophan. More specifically the ratio of Tryptophan (chicken breast actually being higher than turkey believe it or not) to phenylalanine and leucine.

Few other good ratio items are dates, papayas and bananas. Bad ones? Would you believe whole wheat and rye bread.

I'm sure there's lots more information out there, this was just the results of a few minutes googling.
