Been working with Studio 12 to track down some issues with his new Belkin N router he recently purchased. After a lot of research, and calls to their lame tech support based in India, come to find out all Belkin network routers force the Nagel algorithm on with no option to disable. To make matters worse, it appears to be implemented incorrectly.

This results in his getting booted off Manor if idle for a period of time because his router is buffering the connection life test ping indefinitely rather than releasing it with the next received packet, as the Nagel rfc calls for (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc896.html).

I am still working to find a way around this mess, but I'm sure this stupidity will affect other software as well. For that reason I would strongly discourage purchase of Belkin network components.
