I've just got to say it.
We're going to drill a hole in the sea floor a mile under water, so deep we can't even get divers that far down. Then we're going to connect this hole to a ship on the surface, with a metal pipe (deep water oil rigs don't reach all the way down don't you know).
Honestly, what could possibly go wrong? |

| Was actually referring to the mess in the Gulf of Mexico. Which is also an example of what happens when bean counters choose to ignore the engineers as they often do. Just this time the mess is much bigger than the little messes that happen all the time. |

Yes I know you refer to Mexican Gulf.... I am just refering to what I wrote 2 years ago about building gas/oilrigs at BOTTOM in deep sea stuff.... and the engineering in it. Surface level rigs having a snout going down one mile... well.. I agree with you. _________________ Cheiron
