One of our lawyers was in court today and came back with this excerpt.....Im glad the lawyer doesnt work for our firm...Everyone in court was in stitches LOL
Q: Do you recall approximately the time that you examined that body of Mr. Huntington at St. Mary's Hospital?
A: It was in the evening. The autopsy started about 5:30 P.M.
Q: And Mr. Huntington was dead at the time, is that correct?
A: No, you idiot, he was sitting on the table wondering why I was performing an autopsy on him!

Engineering Disasters

Cheiron, in every profession unfortunately a disaster can happen. I would not like being the lawyer in that courtroom making a fool out of myself LOL.
As to the statement "the professional is a myth, everything is bricolage"
I get the bricolage part. Bricolage means to make creative and resourceful use of whatever materials are at hand.
The professional is a myth?
A Professional is a person who has obtained a degree in a professional field, how the hell is that a myth????? Am I missing something?? lol
Flexie if I ever need a lawyer in Montreal, I come see you

| Did this really happen in a courtroom there in Montreal? I can show you the same exact sequence of conversation from an e-mail that has been circulating the internet for 5 yrs or more now. It also includes other gaffs by attorneys in court. Just wondering if someone pulled your leg Flexie. |
