Oh I just love this picture... so much that I wanted to share it... HAHAHAHA
Muscular shoulders or round hips, broad or slim fingers... there are clear physical differences between the genders. That's obvious, but there are other differences...if you saw the skull up and peek inside they are not totally the same.
If you ask professor Donald Pfaff at the Neurobiological and Behavioural Laboratory at Rutgers University he says clearly, when asked what is biggest difference between men and women: production of testosterone in the testicles.
Both men and women have the male hormon testosterone and the female estrogene, just in different amounts, and the whole mess is started by a very small gene in a very small chromosome...
Out there on the little Y-chromosome, which only boys and men have, sits a tiny gene lurking called SRY, which in the embryonic stage starts a whole bunch of other genes that has huge effect on the gonads... testicles develop and what would have been ovaries shrink and vanish. After that the testosterone affects special parts of the brain.
Especially the part of brain that has to do with reproduction. Major issue here is hypothalamus and the area in front of it ... they call it the "preoptic area"... hmmm.. Around this area is a place, SDN that means a lot to male gender, and likewise for women there is an area for women's occulation, called AVPV.
So you can actually see that our brains are different. What it means to our behaviour ?... well...nobody knows yet... but I bet it could create a very funny debate here at forum... (all in good humored friendliness I hope)
HAHAHAHAHA
PS: and you can try this little brain test to see if your brain is predominantly male or female:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/sex/
and there are some other tests about body and mind also, you are anonymous but it will contribute to research, you can find them here:

Wellllllllllllll very amusing picture Cheiron….I can see why you felt the need to share (being sarcastic here.)
The MALE lawyers in my office were smiling from ear to ear and let us not forget a few sarcastic remarks which ended up putting the lunch hour in an up roar… men vs women pushing each other's buttons back and forth LOL
On the other hand the women here were not so impressed with the picture and had this to say to you: pfffffffffft (how is that for behaviour) LOL
All in good fun of course…
Oh and btw a few here have taken the brain test and found it to be very interesting, thank you _________________ - Flexie -

Ladies you could easily turn the tables here and say:
ah yes, a perfect illustration of how simple and one track minded men are (a single lever and if it's not up, the light is off ... hahahaha)... and look at how sophisticated women are !!! ....
oh welll... LOL
PS: personally I'm interested in the right side button that looks like a volume control....
PPS: running and ducking..... _________________ Cheiron

Well Cheiron, nice way to cover your tracks on the illustration using the “turning the tables” method on us women….good try LOL.
Being a woman is a terribly difficult task, since it consists principally in dealing with men…and you wonder why the illustration shows so many buttons!!!!!
As to your PS and PPS……………. here is a PPPS…..you can run ducking, but you can never hide LMAO _________________ - Flexie -

Ah yes, I agree with Flexie...such complex creatures we women are! As for men, I don't think I'd call men simple minded at all. Just when I think I have one special guy figured out, he pulls a fast one on me. Go figure!
And you're looking for the volume control? Did you ever notice that a woman's volume goes up when we want it to sink in? Actually, the louder we talk, the more articulate we become! LOL...uh huh...that's my story and I'm stickin' to it! |
