Safari for Windows, is exactly what I don't need... yet another Web browser.
Internet Explorer has reigned supreme for a while now. Mozilla Firefox continues to chip away at MS and Opera survives on Nintendo and mobile devices.
With The rebirth of Netscape Navigator how many browsers are enough? _________________ RL..now with 100% less lag! |

Apple looks to be in the process of porting all their iLife stuff to Windows. Without regard for if it makes sense or not.
On the brighter side I haven't seen alot of difference in rendering between FireFox and Safari at least on the Mac. |

So they are tripping over their arrogance again shoving OSX design paradigms down people's throat.
I wonder if they will ever get it through their heads they don't have the market share to shove anything down anybodies throat. Apple really needs to figure out that there is already a standard way of doing things on Windows and conform to it, or at least find a balance. |

It should actually render better in the aspect that the layout engine Webcore/KHTML is even more standards compliant than Gecko.
It features CSS1, nearly full CSS2.1, and partial CSS3 compatibility. Gecko only supports full CSS1, partial CSS2.1, and minimal CSS3 compatibility.
Then again, standards compliance is just a way to make yourself look cool (ISO9000). Who wants to run old versions of Lotus anyway? _________________ -Erik "Rhonk" Arnson |
