MS has recently released a solid SP3 for XP (all versions). The download is a tad convoluted. You have to get a script installed before update will allow the process. You can find information and decide if you want to try the OS upgrade.
Manor client runs fine by my short testing.
Windows Vista provides the most advanced security and management capability, but for PCs that cannot be upgraded to Windows Vista right now, Windows XP SP3 ensures these PCs have all available updates and allows these PCs to leverage some new Windows Server 2008 capabilities, such as Network Access Protection (NAP).
Download the script and run it on a machine currently running Windows XP Service Pack 2. The script sets a registry key on your system. The registry key is required for Windows Update to recognize your machine as a valid target for Windows XP Service Pack 3.
try but Maybe you can only use this link in MSIE.
